I’m Katie Koepsell, a Wisconsin-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Seeds Pediatric Speech Therapy, LLC. I have nearly 20 years of experience working with children and families, primarily in preschool through middle school settings. I specialize in supporting children with articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Throughout my career, I have loved collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to help children become confident and successful communicators.
Starting my own private practice has been a long-time dream, and I feel incredibly fortunate to make that dream a reality. One of the things I love most about private practice is the opportunity to build genuine connections with children and their families—to get to know each child, celebrate their progress, and partner with families along the way. I believe therapy should be meaningful, engaging, and individualized, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to communicate. It is a privilege to be part of each child’s journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help them find their voice.

Depending on your child’s needs, evaluations typically last 60–90 minutes or be split into multiple sessions. Treatment session length also varies based on individual needs and tolerance, but they are typically 30 minutes.
-
The length of time a child may need speech therapy varies for each individual and is influenced by many factors. Some of the key considerations include:
The specific skills being targeted
How quickly new strategies or cues are learned
The amount of practice completed between sessions
The frequency of therapy sessions
Because every child’s journey is unique, it’s difficult to predict an exact timeframe—but we will regularly monitor progress and adjust goals together as needed.

The cost of therapy at Seeds Speech Therapy varies based on the type and length of services provided, as well as where services will be held. We can give you a better picture of this when you provide further information about your child’s needs.
At this time, Seeds Speech Therapy does not accept insurance. Parents may choose to submit session invoices to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Upon request, we can provide a detailed Superbill to support this process. Please note, we cannot guarantee reimbursement and do not communicate directly with insurance companies.
